If I close my eyes will it all go away?I’ve been told certain things had to happen to come to this stage .It is a sobering article and yet instead of being pissed off at THEM he wisely suggested putting our energies to better use!Personally I (try) to see the excitement and yet I know there is and will be lots of pain .I read once there is no coming to consciousness without pain, that sucks but if the world didn’t suck we would all fall off!(laugh now)I liked that he stressed local community,the first principle he mentioned was trust.I see now in my personal life those are the first two things(community,trust) that have helped awaken me spiritually and give me more courage to not just see but to face what is going on in the world today as apposed to being isolated and untrusting and trying to create my own little world(I’m stiill working on that one)I think people have good insight it just scares them too much so they drink,drug and absorb there mind with music,video games,tv anything to keep them from feeling(it doen’t take a chemical to mood alter) the fear and deep seated pain in what Robert Burney calls this spiritually hostile world.Today I know there are other people that care about each other and the world,and that maybe it’s not a losing battle after all.Love,Patrick

I would like your opinion on the Urantia Book,which seems to be based on science and histoy in regards to spirituality,with the author unknown nor acknowledged.There is a website with an overview (UBtheNews),which of cource will be influenced by his opinions ;Halbert Katzen whom I met last night giving a presentation at the Capstone House,in Panama City,Florida.Personally I feel he is genuinely trying to put this info. out there for a good cause,I’m just a little naive sometimes. The guy used to go door to door for Greenpeace,that impressed me for some reason.I am just being re-introduced to my passion for LIFE and haved missed alot, you seem to have some insight.He also has a cute little site called Halberticles, your bald snowman rising picture kind of fits.I really love some of you recent pictures and read some of your poetry .It would be interesting to see how you would combine the two.AS for the book If you disern this is worth a look please give me your opinion .Thank You,Love Patrick
hmmm we have the Urantia book and way back in 89 or 90 I know my brother read it and we discussed it quite a bit. I don’t think I ever read it myself. Conclusion from the discussions though were that it had some interesting information but a lot of inaccuracies and now there is a cult near Sedona, what is the name……. I think it has Aquarian in it, anyhow they are a pretty intense cult and the Urantia is their Bible, so to speak. The problem I have had with it over the years is that its seems to generate a response from those who believe in it, that it is the end all be all infallible kind of thing, and people who get into it, and follow it, are not willing to say anything in it could be wrong. Any time a book written by mortal humans brings forth that kind of response of unwillingness to question it sends up red flags about the intent behind its creation. I feel the same way about the Bible itself. The things that people will believe without question because they are in the bible scare the crap out of me! I would say read with discernment if you feel so drawn to do so and see what you get out of it.

yeah in fact spirit said last year some time that the new cycle begins April 29th, according to my calandar
just a few days away!
Alex was doing a newletter every month but he got crazy busy with some new research and there should be a quarterly version out soon to make up for the missed months.
He is also trying to get some folks together in Missoula MT to discuss conscious comminity it was to be in May but I just got an email that it may be postponed, but no details yet, he has a segment of his forum to chat about it too.
